How to find your model number

In order for us to provide an accurate repair quote we'll need to know the full model number of your device. Each brand has it's own set of model numbers and these can generally be found in Settings and in various other locations. Below we have listed the most common:

iPhones, iPads & iPods
Apple model numbers are shown as A and 4 numbers. They can either be found on the back of the device or in Settings>General>About and then tap 'Model Number'.

iPhone 8 models and above

iPhone 8 models and above are fitted with a glass back and do not have the model number written on the back, however this can be found in Settings>General>About and then tap 'Model Number'.

 

However, if the screen is not working or is unresponsive you can identify your model by its features:

iPhone 8 & iPhone 8 Plus

This model has a home button, the iPhone 8 is roughly the same size as a £10 note and has a Single 12MP Wide rear camera. The iPhone 8 Plus has a home button, is approximately the size of a £20 note and has Dual 12MP Wide and Telephoto rear cameras.

iPhone X, iPhone XS & iPhone XS Max

These models don't have a home button and work with face recognition. There are very subtle differences between the phones which can be spotted near the camera. The iPhone XS Max is a larger phone with a 6.5" OLED display.

iPhone XR

The iPhone XR does not have a home button and is available in a variety of rear glass colours. It differs from the other 'X' models as it has a single rear 12MP camera.

iPhone 11

Available in a variety of colours, Apple's iPhone 11 can be identified by its Dual 12MP Ultra Wide and Wide cameras and 6.1” Liquid Retina HD display.

iPhone 11 Pro & iPhone 11 Pro Max

The iPhone 11 Pro & iMax are available with a textured matt glass rear and Triple 12MP Ultra Wide, Wide and Telephoto cameras. The iPhone 11 Pro Max has a larger 6.5”Super Retina XDR display compared to the 5.8"on the Pro.

Samsung Phones & Tablets

The model numbers for all Samsung devices are shown as SM - a letter and 3 numbers eg. SM-G950. These can either be found on the back of the device towards the bottom, for some models with removable backs it is written under the battery or in 'Settings'.

Huawei Phones & Tablets

The model numbers for all Huawei devices are shown as 2 sets of letters and numbers eg. CLT-L09. These can either be found on the back of the device near the logo or in 'Settings'.
